UNEB UCE Results To Be Release Tomorrow | Check Results Here
The Minister of Education, Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni is expected to release the 2023 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results tomorrow.
This is the second batch of the national examinations to be released by the Minister of Education and the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) after releasing the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results two weeks ago.

The State Minister for Higher Education, John Chrysostom Muyingo yesterday confirmed that exams are likely to be released tomorrow.
According to sources at UNEB, they are slated to brief the minister of education today, Wednesday, February 8 about how the senior four students who sat for the 2022 UCE exams performed before they are released.
A total of 349,455 candidates, out of which 175,923 (50.3%) of candidates are males, while 173,522 (49.7%) are females sat for the 2023 examinations. Of these, a total of 114,200 (32.7%) of the candidates were funded under the Universal Secondary Education (USE) program, while 235,245 (77.3%) candidates are non-US.
Fifty one (51) candidates wrote their examination from Luzira prison while 519 were special needs education candidates.
Just like in PLE, UNEB registered an increase in the number of candidates who registered for the 2023 UCE. In 2020, the board registered a total of 333,396 candidates hence an increase in the number of 2023 candidature by 16,059.
Out of these, 1166,744 were male while 166,652 were female. A total of 519 were special needs students, 45 inmates who sat for their exams in Luzira upper prison.

HOW DO I CHECK MY RESULTS USING A PHONE VIA SMS?
- Using SMS, Go to messages.
- Type the Exam code say, UCE [leave space] INDEX NUMBER, and send to 6600.

- Go to messages, type UCE 000012/003 and send to 6600.
- You will receive an SMS with the results.
- Please note that this service is charged UGX 500 per SMS
If you don’t use SMS platforms, then you can also use UNEB’s e-registration platform which also has the latest results.
HOW DO I CHECK MY RESULTS USING THE INTERNET?
- Using Internet Browser, Go to your web browser.
- Type ereg.uneb.ac.ug/results in your browser.
- In the form, enter the candidate’s Index Number and click SEARCH.
- A page with the Candidate’s results will load.
- Please note that this service is free and all you need is internet to access it.
