UBTEB Nov/Dec Examination Results Out

Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | The Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board – UBTEB on 5th April 2024 released the Nov/Dec 2023 end-of-programme and modular examinations results.

The event was officiated by the Minister of Education and Sports Hon. Janet Kataaha Museveni.

UBTEB Executive Secretary, Onsesmus Oyesigye noted that a total of 72,247 (21,641 females and 50,606 males) candidates were registered for the assessments.

From this, he said 34,736 (48%) registered for the End of module assessment and 37,511 (52%) for the End of programme examinations.

“Out of the total 72,247 candidates who registered for the end of the programme and modular assessments, 66,954 (92.7%) turned up for examinations while 5,293 (7.3%) were absent in one or more modules.”

The registered candidates from 600 examination centres were to sit different programme categories including; Advanced Craft Programme, Technical National Certificate- End of programme, Technical National Certificate -Modular Assessment, Uganda Community Polytechnic Certificate- End of programme, Uganda Community Polytechnic Certificate Modular Assessment, Business Diploma & Certificate Programmes and Physical and Biological Sciences Diploma & Certificate programmes.

Oyesigye says that out of the 66,954 candidates who sat for examinations, 52,373 (78.2%) successfully acquired all competencies in their respective trades.

Female candidates contributed 15,705 (30%) compared to their male counterparts who contributed 36,668 (70%).

How to Check UBTEB Results Online:

  1. Visit the UNEB eReg Portal via https://ereg.uneb.ac.ug/results
  2. On the Results Page, Enter your Index Number.
  3. Click on Search and wait for your results to show up on the next page.

How to Check UBTEB Results via SMS

This is done by sending a simple SMS to 6600.

  • For P7 UNEB PLE Results, go to messages on your phone and type PLE <space> Index No e.g. PLE 000001/001 and send this to 6600.
  • For S4 UNEB UCE Results, go to messages on your phone and type UCE <space> Index No e.g. UCE U0001/001 and send this to 6600.
  • For S6 UNEB UACE Results, go to messages on your phone and type UACE <space> Index No e.g. UACE U0001/501 and send this to 6600.
  • For Technical Institute results, go to messages on your phone and type TECH <space> Index No e.g. TECH UT002/0001 and send this to 6600.

Note: This Service Cost Ushs 500 for Each SMS you Send. You will then receive your Exam Result details instantly.

If you don’t use SMS platforms, then you can also use UNEB’s e-registration platform which also has the latest results.

HOW DO I CHECK MY RESULTS USING THE INTERNET?

  1. Using Internet Browser, Go to your web browser.
  2. Type ereg.uneb.ac.ug/results in your browser.
  3. In the form, enter the candidate’s Index Number and click SEARCH.
  4. A page with the Candidate’s results will load.
  5. Please note that this service is free and all you need is internet to access it.
