This is to notify applicants who responded to the Prisons Authority External Advert of 2024 that the shortlist for oral interviews has been released as per attached schedules.

INTERVIEWS FOR RECRUIT WARDERS / WARDRESS
Following an advert for recruitment of warders/wardresses in Uganda Prisons Service interviews for the shortlisted candidates will be conducted in your respective regions from the communicated date. Lists for shortlisted candidates can be viewed at all our Regional Headquarters except for Central Region which can be viewed at Kampala Extra-Region Headquarters – Luzira.
All candidates must wear masks and follow Ministry of Health directives on COVID-19.
Only shortlisted candidates should appear on the dates allocated to them to avoid overcrowding at the venues.

All shortlisted candidates are hereby informed to note the following.
a. Take note of the Date, Board and Time for their interviews on Uganda Prisons Service website www.prisons.go.ug.
b. Come along with original academic documents and certified copies i.e Degree certificates, Academic transcripts, A and O level certificates.
c. Carry a National identity card.
d. Pick invitation letters from Prisons Authority Secretariat offices from the Scheduled Date.
e. Beware of unscrupulous individuals who may contact you demanding payment. Report such cases to the Secretary, Prisons Authority in writing.
f. Any appeals should be addressed to thee Secretary Prisons Authority in writing.
