List of Courses Offered at Nkumba University
Presently, there are four avenues of entry to the University.
These are The Direct Entry Schemes,
The Diploma Holders Entry Scheme,
The Postgraduate Scheme and the Mature Age Entry Scheme.
These guidelines are in line with the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) recommendations.
We offer a variety of study sessions per programme as seen below including Full-time (FT), Evening (EVE), Weekend (WKD) and Distance Learning.
Full Time or Day Sessions are conducted from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm from Monday to Friday while
Evening Sessions are conducted from 5 pm to 9 pm on weekdays.
The Weekend Sessions are conducted on Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 6 pm.
The Distance Learning Session is tailored for students who have to stay at their jobs but would like to attend class.
Students are mainly taught using the e-learning platform but also get time to physically interact with the lecturers.
It’s also important to note that some programmes are taught at our Kampala (K’la) Campus. Generally,
these study arrangements provide sufficient flexibility to meet each student’s needs.
Note:
Because of the presidential directives and National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) guidelines, studies for this semester shall be conducted online using our Nkumba University Elearning Environment (NUELE) platform.
This mode of study shall be in effect until further directives/ guidelines from the National Council for Higher Education.
