How to apply to Kampala University online

To apply to Kampala University online, follow these steps:

Go to the university’s website at https://www.ku.ac.ug/
Click on the “Admissions” button on the top menu bar.

Click on the “Apply Now” button.

Kampala University admission requirements

The admission requirements for Kampala University vary depending on the program you are applying for. However, in general, the following are the minimum admission requirements:

Undergraduate programs:

A minimum of two principal passes at the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) level or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
A minimum of five passes at the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) level or its equivalent, including Mathematics and English.

Postgraduate programs:

A bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent.
Relevant work experience may also be required for some programs.

Diploma programs:

A minimum of one principal pass at the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) level or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
A minimum of three passes at the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) level or its equivalent.

In addition to the above requirements, applicants may also be required to provide other supporting documents such as academic transcripts, identification documents, and passport size photographs. Some programs may also require applicants to sit for an entrance exam or attend an interview as part of the admissions process.
