Cavendish University Uganda International Admissions
Admissions to Cavendish University Uganda shall be open to all qualified national and international persons without discrimination. A student is admitted into an academic program when he/she meets the entry requirements into that program and level. Admissions into Cavendish University Uganda shall be conducted under the guidance of the National Council for Higher Education and with the approval of the Senate.
An International Applicant:
1 Must have a qualification recognized for university entry in his/her home country or country where he/she has studied. The applicant will be offered a provisional admission for one semester pending equating of his/her qualification.
The University may consider for admission to a degree programme a candidate who has completed a 12 – year – system of education provided that such a candidate has been registered at another University, before applying to Cavendish University Uganda, for a degree programme and has completed at least one year of university education. Such a candidate must, however, submit the University academic transcript from that other University.
2 A holder of a 12- year-system of education Certificate:
A holder of this Certificate such as the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or the equivalent is required to complete a Foundation Year before enrolling for the Bachelor`s degree programme.

Terms & Conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION DECLARATION
Students are required to attend all lectures, classes, and tests and to submit written work as required by the lecturers and tutors.
The University reserves the right to take disciplinary measures against a student if he/she does not fulfill the above requirements or for disruptive behavior. No refund of fees will be given.
Enrollment or a program entails full payment of annual fees, together with the payment of the required deposit of 50% of the semester tuition fees.
The balance is subject to a flexible payment plan and payable within the first four months of the semester, i.e. two months before the close of the semester.
When a student is in default, a penalty fee of 10% will be payable by the student and the entire balance will become due forthwith.
In the event of a cancellation by a student for whatever reason, or change of course, the following will apply:
Deposit and general fees will not be refunded.
Cancellation must be made in writing.
If a student changes his/her course of study during the semester, no refund will be given where the preferred course involves fewer subjects/courses.
Full Fees paid in advance will be discounted at 5% of the list price.
Program deliveries will take place only if justified by demand or economic numbers.
While program start and end dates are not expected to change, the University reserves the right to alter dates to facilitate or improve the provision of the program and its examination. Those changes will in no way affect the other terms and conditions of the student’s contract with the university.
The university prospectus is correct at the time of printing but is subject to alteration.
Return a certified and completed university medical form.
Please note that all listed fees for future periods other than the semester of registration and invoice are only indicative and subject to change at the discretion of the university at any time but before the commencement of classes in the affected semester.
The university will be happy to offer advice relating to university applications, examinations, entries etc, however, it is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all applications and entries, of whatever nature, are in order and delivered by the appropriate closing dates.
Return a certified and completed university medical form.

It should be noted by all applicants that all cases of Impersonation, Falsification of Documents, or giving False/Incomplete information whenever discovered either at registration or afterward will lead to automatic CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION and prosecution in the Uganda Courts of Law at the time of such discovery.
