Kabale School of Enrolled Comprehensive Nursing Application Forms

Kabale School of Comprehensive Nursing started in 1972 as Kabale School of Nursing and Midwifery training students at enrolled level. By then the capacity was 120.

That meant 60 per course (Nursing & Midwifery and the selection was only 20 students for each intake. The duration of the course was 2 ½ years. This institution remains the only Government Institution of this kind in the Kigezi region.

The Diploma in General Nursing (EN-RN Conversion) Programme has been designed to provide nurses with an opportunity to upgrade their qualifications for being able to acquire license and practice as Registered Nurses.

Admissions​​

Applications for admission for ​2024 cycle will be accepted from January 26 until April 15.

Eligibility Criteria​​​​

Enrolled Nurses, Enrolled Comprehensive Nurses, Registered Midwives and Registered Psychiatric Nurses are encouraged to apply.

  • Form IV level of education with a minimum aggregate of Division III in the Ordinary Certificate of Education
  • ​Pass in the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology​
  • ​Certificate of Enrolment from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (for enrolment level)
  • Certificate of Registration in Midwifery (RM) with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (for registration level)
  • At least two years of working experience
